Taekwondo

Hi bloggers! In the past three weeks we have been doing Taekwondo. When we first started it didn't go well but then we got hang of it after a week or two. It was fun to try it out and learn what it was about. What is it about, you ask? Well, Taekwondo is not really about fighting other on purpose, it's about protecting yourself when you get in to trouble that involves violence. We did a lot of different things to practice on. The jump kick was a bit hard but I got into the finals for the competition to kick to the pads. I was sad that my friend Shiya couldn't make it to the finals, but she tried to do her best on her last round. Here is a picture of Taekwondo. Did any of you bloggers do Taekwondo? My Choir Rehearsal

Hi bloggers! Yesterday the choir and I went to Glen Eden Intermediate to rehearse for the show on November, even though it is far away we have to because some of the songs are hard like Time To Say Good-Bye. When we got there their hall was huge! They did some songs while they were waiting for the schools to come and get ready to sing. When all the schools were here we started singing with Mr Lambert, Mrs Mc Garth and Miss Ward played the piano. When we sang Mist On The River with violins which was really cool and two little kids played the violins now that was cool. After sing we had a 10 minute break to eat, go to the toilet and have a drink of water. Soon we had to go into the hall and go back to singing. We did a two hours of singing then we went back to school and had to do take won doe, after that we went to get our bags then go to the hall because we only had 18 more minutes till the rings to go home. So we got our bags and went to the hall. We sang two of our choir songs then suddenly the bell rang and we went home.

Strand Maths

Hi bloggers! Yesterday we made a model of a tent or a house. I did a house which was a bit wonky as you see in the picture that I posted. I made it out of tooth picks and play dough. It was a bit hard because it kept on falling down. I got really annoyed by that but I had to stay calm or I wouldn't have been able to make it. I learned to not always get angry when we are doing a project that has fragile materials. I did a shape of a 3D square on the bottom and a 3D triangle on the top as you can see in the picture.  The good part of making the house was that it didn't fall at the end.
